You may have failed your three credit check because you are not on the electoral roll at your current address. Many lenders and credit providers use the electoral roll data to decide if hey are going to lend to you. Most look at it as one of the most important factors If you are not on the electoral roll at your current address then you should register.

It is also possible that the credit bureaus hold different data on you and one of them holds incorrect info or maybe your credit score is much lower than you first thought.. 

If you are unsure of what your credit score is then you should check your credit score from the four credit bureaus in the UK: Experian, Crediva, Equifax and Transunion.

Some of these credit bureaus may charge you a fee to view your credit report so what you can alternatively do is request a statutory credit report which is a free credit report which each credit bureau must provide to you upon you requesting it.

Alternatively, you can also use credit score services such as Checkmyfile and clearscore to check your credit report. The benefit of checkmyfile is that it allows you to see all your credit reports from all the credit bureaus and this means you can identify where there are issues much easier.

Three also states on its website that it requires you to have lived in the UK for three years. This may mean that they are looking to see that you are on the electoral roll at your current address for three years or that they expect to see you registered on the electoral roll for 3 years, even if this has been with different addresses.
